NOTD: China Glaze - Shower Together w/ OPI - I Juggle...Men

China Glaze - Shower Together

In real life, this is more blue than green (it's showing green on my computer).  It's super pretty and looks good in 2 coats!

This has one coat of OPI - I Juggle...Men on it.  It adds some sparkle.  :)  It's hard to photograph, but it's lovely.  I wish it wasn't SO subtle though.

And just for fun:

I was messing around with some new striping polishes I got from Sally Beauty Supply (So Easy Stride Rite brand).

Not my best work, but certainly not my worst!  lol!  I later went back and did silver tips on all 10 nails - but I don't have a picture of that.

NOTD: OPI - Indi-a Mood For Love w/ Konad

OPI - Indi-a Mood For Love

The above picture is very color accurate (on my computer, anyway) to the shade in real life.  :)  It's a gorgeous hot pink, but also very wearable.  More like, a toned down hot pink - maybe?  lol!

This picture is NOT color accurate, but I think my nails look so nice.  :-P  I'm trying hard to grow them out!

    Konadicure!
    • Konad plate M60
    • Konad Special Polish in White

I actually went to get my toes done when I had this mani, and the lady doing my feet was very impressed!  :)  It's always nice when a professional is impressed!  :)  She'd never heard of Konad though!  Weird!

    Haul: MUG Contest!

A few months ago, I won a MakeupGeek.com contest for an Arabic look I did.  :)

I claimed my prizes late, but they were awesome and let me get something anyway!  The original prize was unavailable, so they let me get $120 worth of MUD (Make-Up Designory) and MUG (Makeup Geek) products.

    Here's the winnings and swatches!

Make-Up Designory Cheek Color: Poppy (left), Bubblegum (right)

Make-Up Designory Eye Color:  Bone (top left), Smoked Sapphire (top right); Pink Illusion (bottom left), Pacific (bottom right).

I already had a 4-pan empty MAC palette, so I just ordered pans.  They were not magnetic.  BUT!  MUD eye shadows DO fit in MAC palettes!  :)  Good to know!

Make-Up Designory Lip Color in Ladybug

And for fun - the lighting in these pictures made them look weird, so here they are as a bonus! I was trying to take a picture without flash to show the true color. The color in these are pretty accurate... they just look like an ad or something! :-P

    Collection: Konad Plates

I took these picture, and I've acquired two more plates since.  So the nail wheel with the examples (below) is also a little out of date... Oh, my procrastination gets the better of me sometimes!

    First, here are the plates (M2, M29, M57, M60, M62, M64, M78)!  They're all genuine Konad.

Here is a nail wheel with some examples (just done quickly).  The first picture is plain polish so you can see the colors better.

Here are my two acquisitions since I first took these pictures:

    NOTD: Pink and Lace Konadicure

This was a look done with my new rhinestones and acrylic molds!

The white polish is just a simple Nailene white polish for a french mani.  I would recommend you find another white as this one was kind of thick and gross.

The pink color is OPI - Indi-a Mood For Love.

I have plain black rhinestones and a lace pattern from my acrylic molds.  I used plain black acrylic powder.  Also, I find it's best if you make the molds AS you need them so they're still soft enough to bend to the shape of your nail.  Even after several coats of top coat, the lace was still rigid enough to get caught on everything (ie: washing my hair... yuck!).

The butterfly is konad plate m78 with Konad black special polish.  :)
